Schedule your puppy’s comprehensive health check-up as soon as possible after bringing them home. During this initial appointment, we will:

• Conduct a thorough physical examination
• Discuss and possibly administer the first round of vaccinations
• Discuss parasite prevention, including fleas, ticks, and heartworms
• Provide nutritional guidance for proper growth and development
• Address any questions about behavior, training, and general care

• Socialization: Early socialization is essential for raising a well-adjusted dog. Introduce your puppy to different people, pets, sounds, and environments to build their confidence.
• Potty Training: Consistency is key! Take your puppy outside frequently—especially after meals, naps, and playtime—and reward them for pottying outside.
• Chew Training: Puppies love to chew! Provide plenty of chew toys to encourage them to gnaw on their toys instead of furniture or shoes.
• Positive Reinforcement: Use treats, praise, and rewards to encourage good behavior.
• Play Time: Give your puppy daily opportunities to run, play, and explore to support physical and mental well-being.
• Dental Care: Start brushing their teeth early to prevent dental issues, using dog-friendly toothbrushes and toothpaste.
• Grooming: Get them accustomed to regular grooming. Brush their coat, check and clean ears, and trim their nails to keep them comfortable and healthy. We also offer nail trims—just ask at your next visit!
